Mario Bakuna at The Bull’s Head Jazz Club

After an incredible season playing at festivals and iconic venues across Europe, Africa, and Brazil, I’m excited to bring my music to a brand-new stage at @bullsheadsw13 : and you’re invited!

For the first time, I’ll be performing at The Bull’s Head Jazz Club in Barnes , where I’ll be featuring my latest album, Brazilian Landscapes.

This project is a deep dive into the soul of Brazil, a tribute to its rhythms, people, and legends. From the elegance of Bossa Nova and the groove of Samba Jazz to the vibrant pulse of forró and ijexá, we’ll be celebrating the incredible diversity of Afro-Brazilian music with new arrangements of songs by masters like Tom Jobim, João Donato, Gilberto Gil, Luiz Gonzaga and many more.
